Pediatrics, Second Hospital, Medical College, Ji Nan University, Shenzhen, China Objective: To
explore the short and long-term efficiency of losec, clarithramycin, aomxillin
eradicating Helicobactor pylori (H.pylori) infection in children. Methods:
Children with recurrent abdominal pain who were identified with H.pylori
infection by both 13C-UBT and Hp-IgG were divided into two groups, therapy
group and placebo group. Therapy group was given losec 0.8mg/kg/d, once daily,
clarithramycin 15mg/kg/d, twice daily, amoxillin 30mg/kg/d, three times
daily. Total therapy course was 1 week. They were followed-up 1,3,6,12
month after stopping therapy. Results: 1.
The effective rate of abdominal pain relief was 96.7% and 34.6%
respectively in therapy group and placebo group. The H.pylori eradication
rate was 90% and 14.3% respectively. 2. The H.pylori re-infection rate was
respectively 1.85%, 1.85%, 3.57% in 3,6,12 after treatment. Conclusions: 1.
The losec triple- therapy is efficient clinically and has a high H. pylori eradication
rate. The re-infection rate in 1 year is very low. 2. C-UBT diagnosing H.pylori
infection and monitoring its eradication is very simple, safe and accurate.
