OBSERVING THE EFFECT OF DICLOFENAC SODIUM’S RINGING DOWN CHILDREN’S SOARING TEMPERATURE

Objective: Choosing remedies that can not only bring down soaring temperature but also maintain normal temperature for quite a long time, and are painless, easy to use. Observe the therapeutic effect of Diclofenac Sodium.

Methods: Observing randomly children’s temperatures that were39, which were caused by acute respiratory infection or parotitis. Diclofenac Sodium suppositories were given in these cases. To children 24 years of age, 1/3 of the supposity was used to insert into anus about 1.52cm deep, 1/2 to children 57 years of age; 2/3 to children 812 years of age. Take orally TYlenol Relief of fever 5ml to children 23 years of age; 7.5ml to children five years of age; 12.5ml to children ten years of age; 15ml to children 12 years of age. Intramuscular injections of Analgin were given 10mg/kg each time.

Results: Among three groups of medicines, the time needed for Diclofenac Sodium to reduce fever and maintain normal temperature has statistically remarkable differences (P<0.01).

Conclusions: To children suffering from soaring temperature, Diclofenac sodium has the characteristics of bringing down fever promptly, maintaining time long, and easy to use, safe, no obvious gastrointestional symptoms.
