THE OBSERVATION OF LOVASTATIN TREATMENT HYPERLIPIDEMIA
ON NEPHROYIC SYNDROME Han ZM, Chen XD, Yang DS, Zhang H First
Affiliated Hospital, Xinxiang Medical College, Henan, China Objective: To investigate the effects of
lovastatin treatment hyperlipidemia
on nephrotic syndrome with children. Methods: 43 cases
nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. There were 21 cases in
treatment group and 22 cases in control group. All of the cases were
application prednisone again and
the cases of treatment group were application lovastatin. Before treatment and after treatment one month,
liver function and serum
lipide were measured. Results: Compared before treatment with after treatment in each group, the
level of serum apoprotein B (ApoB), total cholesterol (TC),
trigtycerides (TG), low-density
lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and lipoprotein (a) [Lpa] were obviously decrease
(P<0.01). The concentration of serum
ApoB, TC, TG, and LDL-C in treatment group were much lower than that
in control group (P<0.01) and Lpa was no obvious difference
in treatment one month. Conclusion: Lovastatin can obviously decrease the level of serum lipide in nephrotic syndrome with children.
