Result: The average value of neonatal UBC is 1.81±0.46mmol/L, 70 cases ³2.5mmol/L, among them 2 cases confirmed FH, the occurrence is 1/500; UBC don’t affected by mother’s cholesterol.

Conclusion: It is an easy and reliable way to screen FH by UBC test and suitable to do it in large-scale areas.
