STUDY THE RELATIONSHIP OF RACHITIC INFANTS TREATED BY VITAMIND3 AND MICROELEMEN OF SELENIUM

Objective: To search the difference between before and after treatment by vitaminD3 in rachitic infants and the function of treatment of microelement of selenium.

Methods: We divided 174 objects into three groups. There were: (1) the group of rachitis before treatment (2) the group of rachitis treated by vitaminD3. (3) the group of rachitis treated by vitaminD3 and selenium. Each group was determined serum Se by flow-injection hydride generation atomic absorption respectively.

Results: Each group exists markedly difference by the test of square, and there has markedly difference between each two groups by analysis of SNK. Compared with three groups by determining immune function, we know that the immune function between each two groups exists markedly difference. The test of immune function includes:T cell multiplicate function and immuno-globulin of IgAIgGIgM.

Conclution: VitaminD3 can improve lower nutrition state of selenium. With treatment of vitaminD3 and supplied selenium at the same time, rachitic child not only can be improved the nutrition state of selenium but also increased the level of serum Ca and P. The microelement selenium or vitaminD3 also can increases body’s immune function. VitaminD3 maybe works through cooperating with microelement selenium.
