ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY AND STRESS-REST MYOCARDIAL PERFUSION TOMOGRAPHY VALUE CARDIAOVASCULAR ABMORMALITIES OF KAWASAKY DISEASE

Objective: To stady echocardiography and 201-tl stree-rest myocardial perfusion tomography (spect) value patients with coronary artery abnormalities of kawasaky disease. Direct acute, recover stage therapy and prognosis value.

Methods: Six patients underwere spect after echocardiography. They got therapy during acute stage by intervenous gamma globulin (ivgg) plus asprin. Flowed up 6-11(6+3) months. Fever gone, stop ivgg and got spect. Keep getting asprin until coronary artery recover normal.

Result: 3 cases were normal coronary artery and 3 cases were left coronary artery lca abnormalities showed ectasia by echo-cardiography.one was 5.7mm(2 years old), other was 3.7mm (1.5years old), the third was 3.3mm(1.5 years old). All of 6 cases were abnormal lca showed stinosis, ischmia by spect.

Conclusion: Echocardiography can find open area abmormalities of coronary artery, extraordinary for ectasia. It’s difficult to know coronary artery stenosis, ischmia and myocardial blood supply. Spect can fill up it, stree-rest myocardiai motion may direct patients motion condition. echocadiogrphy plus spect make all-round diagnosis for heart condition during acute stage. Echo-cardiography is good method for a long time follow-up.
