Objective: In order to exploit a
technology for child health care institution to monitor children’s growth
and development status and promote their physic and intelligence to develop
harmoniously.
Methods: Randomly selected 60
normal infants aged 48 days to 20 months as experiment group(EG) and define
the control group (CG) by 1:1 matched case control case study design. A
over-all monitoring and interventing technology has been used to assess and
intervent children’s physical and intelligence development in EG for one
year and three months. Relative indices of physical and intelligence
development in both group are analized.
Results: The general score of
development quotient (DQ) in EG Children is significantly higher than CG
children especially in the sections of motion intensive act and social
adaptability. In the mean time the increment of weight and height in EG
children is higher than CG children.
Conclusions: The monitoring technology of infants and
toddlers growth and development can promote the development of
intelligence, height and weight harmoniously and it might be extensively
used in child health care institution.
