Objective: To realize the changes of cardiac equipment and lab exam of viral myocarditis (VM) for analyzing the severity of disease and estimating the effect of the treatment.

Methords: 112 case with coxB VM was researched. The cardiac equipmental exam included electrocardiograhy, 2-dimensions Doppler Echocardiography, Doppler tissue image (DTI), single photon emission computer tomograph, the lab exam included cardiac isoenzyme of creatine phosphokinase (CK-MB) and anticardiac phospholipid  antibody (ACPA).

Results: The abnormality rate of 112 cases with coxB VM are as follow. ST-T changes 34.8%, atrioventricular block 20.5%, premature beat 9.8%, Enlargement of left ventricle (LV) 15.9%, enlargement of left atrium (LA) 22.2%, enlargement of right ventricle (RV) 11.1%, decrease of stroke index 23.2%, decrease of cardiac index 12.5%), decrease of ejection fraction 21.4%, decrease of LV ejection rate 22.3%, decrease of LV filling rate 15.2%, decrease of RV ejection rate 16.9%, decrease of RV filling rate 8.0%, decrease of peak velocity of early diastolic stage of mitral valve ring  (MVR) 64.3%, decrease of peak velocity of late diastolic stage of MVR 36.6%, decrease of peak velocity of systolic stage of MVR 34.8%, decrease of peak velocity systolic endocardium movement of LV posterior wall (LVPW) 25.9%, decrease of peak velocity diastolic endocardium of LVPW 23.2%, decrease of peak velocity systolic exocardium movement of LVPW 29.5%, decrease of peak velocity diastolic exocardium LVPW 25%, increase of CK-MB 66.7%, positive rate of ACPA 77.7%. The decrease of heart funtion is close related to increase of CK-MB and positive rate of ACPA.

Conclusion: Cardiac equipment exam and Lab exam are very useful in the diagnosis and realizing the severity of disease and effect of treatment of viral myocarditis.
