The percentage of unexpected removing needle rate were 7.2%, 7.4%, and 3% in groups with under 1, 1~3, and over 3 years of age respectively. The obstruction rate were 3% and 33% (p < 0.01) in  continued reserving ivtubing needles with 0.02% Heparin and 0.9% normal sodium chloride respectively.
