Objective: To study the relation between the macosomia's late physique and intelligences development.

Methods: The total number of macrosomia and normal control group with 1:1 matched pair is 116 to measure their weight, height and head circumference respectively at 1,3,5 years old and to do Development Screening Test at 0-6 years old (DST) and compare the values.

Results: The weight of macrosomia was higher than that of normal control group (P<0.05) at 1 year old, at 3 years old only weight was  higher than that of normal control group (P<0.05), at 5 years old there  was no difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The motor ability and social adaptive capacity of mcrosomia was lower than that  of normal control group at 1 year old, at 3 years old the motor ability   was still lower (P<0.05), at 5 years old there was no significantly difference between the two groups (P>0.05).

Conclusion: There are no benifit to late physique and intelligence for macrosomia, that the development of motor ability and social adaptive are behind before 3 years old is relative to their ultraweight.
