Objective: To detect rotavirus genome from systemic organs and tissues in 2
died infants with rotavirus diarrhea and to investigate the diffusion track
and the ability of adsorbing on and penetrating into such tissues. Methods: The
genome of rotavirus in organs and tissue were tested with indirect in situ
polymerase chain reaction and hybridize technology.
Results: Rotavirus genome
was found in intestinal, kidney, liver and lung.
Conclusion: It was true that rotavirus had diffused from intestinal to
other organs and tissues and viremia must be the track.
