EARLY EXCHANGE TRANSFUSION RESCUED SERIOUS DEGREE ORGANOPHOSPHATES POISONING INFANT

Objective: We use early exchange transfusion to rescue a serious degree  organophosphates poisoning infant who was one year and eight months.

Methods: One case report about early fresh blood exchange transfusion to treating organophosphates poisoning.

Results: The boy recovered after timely treatment.Early exchange  transfusion can cut down Atropine and activator's dose, shorten the course of treatment, raise curative effect, reduce the incidence of after-effect and decrease death rate.

Conclusion: Early fresh whole blood exchange is an effective method to  treat serious organophosphates poisoning.
