NURSING MANAGE, ENHANCE SURVIVAL RATE OF LOW BIRTH WEIGHT INFANT

Objective: By compare mortality and cause of die of low birth weight infant
before and after the establish of newbaby critical care unit (NICU),
explore the method of enhance survival rate of low birth weight infant
(LBWI) by reform nursing.
Method:
Compare mortality cause of die of low birth weight Infant before and after
the establish of newbaby critical care unit (NICU), the result were
analyzed by
SPSS.
Result:
During the six years before the establish of newbaby critical care unit
(NICU), the mortality of LBWI was 38.67%, thereinto the number died in
sclerema account for 70.38%, the number died in lung bleeding account for
42.90%. During the years after the establish of newbaby critical care unit
(NICU), the mortality of LBWI was 19.03%，thereinto the number died in sclerema account for 25.33%，the number died in respiration failure
account for 63.83%，the number died in lung bleeding account for 26%. The number of patient
who company the sclerema were increased gradually.
Conclusion: The key point to enhance survival rate of low birth weight
infant (LBWI) include the advance of observed to life sign by monitor, and
the advance of measures against heat preservation, feed and anti-infection.
