EXPERIENCE OF THE NURSING OF THE POSTOPERATION PATIENT OF TETRALOGY OF
FALLOT TO THE CHILDREN PATIENT OF 26 CASES

Objective: summarize the experience of the nursing and observation, improving
the level of nursing.
Method: The
author studies retrospectively the nursing and observation in 26 cases of
Tetralogy of Fallot.
Results: The entire patients accept radical surgery of TOF. One patient
died because of low output syndrome after the surgery. Seven of the 26
cases of Tetralogy of Fallot, Postoperation complications include successively:
especially low output syndrome, thorax bleeding, remnants distributaries
between ventricle, 9 cases patient because of the complication include arrhythmia
emergency treatment. The apply of the efficient utilization of computer
technology result in the expansion of the time available for the nurse to
observe the patient.. The time devoted to technical nursing care reduces
significantly over the patient's first 24 h in the ward. On the other hand
the time devoted to intermittent nursing care and learning activities is
shown to be shift dependent.
Conclusion: The nursing key point to Tetralogy of Fallot must be attention
to the complication, especially low output syndrome, thorax bleeding, (remnants
distributaries between ventricle). Nurses must know well the use of every wardship
machine.
