文本框: STUDY ON NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF THE CHILDREN IN NORTH CHINA Ma Xiancai, Tian Zhiliang, YaoLi, Zhou Ping, Ren Zhi Min, Guan Qing Run Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, China Objective: In order to study VD nutritional status in our country, develop and guide the prevention and treatment of Rickets, improve the population quality. 25 (OH)D3, which is metabolite of VD in human body, was observed in deferent season and population in north china during 1989-1993. Method: The observed people included gravidas, neonates, infants and puberty children in Heilongjiang Province and Innermongolia province. The observed methods were as follows. 1) Inquired the history of deficiency of VD and Ca. 2) Inspected the syptoms and signs. 3) X—ray examined. 4) Determined the 25(OH) D3, Ca, P, ALP concentration. Result: The 25(OH) D3concentration in 19 gravidas was 17.97-42.43 nmol/L (7.2-17.0ng/ml) in this group,6 cases out of them were lower than 10ng/ml, another 10 gravidas were 21.46-49.42nmol/L (8.6-19.8ng/ml) when they were pregnant for 7-8 months, 5 cases out of them were lower than 10ng/ml. The results showed that VD nutritional status about 1/3-1/2 gravidas was lower level. The 25(OH)D3concentration in neonates had obviously correlated with their mothers (r=0.3377, P＜0.01). By logistic regression procedures the 25 (OH) D3 concentration in neonates remained about 11ng/ml when that in gravidas got 20ng/ml. The 25 (OH) D3concentration in healthy infants aged 0-3 years was 17. 3±1.7ng/ml in spring and 33.6±1.8ng/ml in autumn, that in autumn was as twice as that in spring.Average25(OH)D3concentration of Rickets was 3.1±2.1ng/ml (7.74±5.24nmol/L).The 25 (OH) D3 concentration in 70 puberty children aged 9-16 years was 4.9-24.3ng/ml in spring. 9 cases out of them had some symptoms and signs as follows: weakness, more sweat, bone deformity, pelvic Limb pain et al. It had obviously improved after VD supplements. Conclusion: AII results have showed that the VD nutrional status of gravidas, neonates, infants and puberty children is lower level in north. They are the population of higher demand and supply of VD and Ca. It is important to improve their VD nuritional status. 0717
