文本框: EXPERIMENT SUTDY OF ENTEROGNOUS INFECTION IN RATS WITH PYOCYANIC PNEUMONIA UNDER A WEAK IMMUNITY

Objective: To explore Whether or not enterogenous infection exists with infective pneumonia in rats under a weak immunity.
Methods: All wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e. control group, pyocyanic pneumonia group (group PP), group of pneumonia treated with dexamethasone (group PD) and group of pneumonia treated with cyclophosphamide (group PC), of which the latter2 groups were given intra-abdominal injection of dexamethasone and cyclophosphamide once a day for l0 days successively before the pneumonia model was made. On the11th day, an animal model of pyocyanic pneumonia was established. After 24 hours, under asepsis, the rats' organs were separated and homogenated. At the same time, bacteria culturing, totaly colony quantity and bacteria identification were done.
Results: (1) survival rate in contr in group PD and 80%(l2/15) in group PC. (2) In organ bacteria culturing, more ol group and group PP was both 100%, 40%(6/l5) positiveness appeared in lymph nodes and liver. Gram-negative bacillus was mainly shown in bacteria identification. (3) Bacteria culturing positiveness and total colony quantity: positiveness and total colony quantity of both gr PD and group PC were significantly higher than that of control group and group PP.
Conclusions: Enterogenous infection exists with pyocyanic pneumonia in rats under a weak immunity.
