RADIOGRAPH FOR DIAGNOSTIC MANIFESTATIONS OF NUTRITIONAL RICKETS IN INFANCY

Objective: To study the manifestations of chest radiograph of rickets in
infancy and find early diagnosingnutritional rickets in infancy.
Methods: 70 chest radiographic manifestations of rickets patients were
compared with both biochemical findings and carpal radiographs.
Results: the diagnostic accuracy of nutritional rickets by chest
radiograph is higher than that by either biochemical findings or carpal
radiograph.
Conclusion: chest radiograph could diagnose early nutritional rickets in
infancy.
