THE METHOD AND CHARACTERISTIC OF
CHIlDREN'S HEMODIALYSIS AND FILTRATION

Objective: To discuss the method and characteristic of children's
hemodialysis and filtration (HDF).
Method: By
Branc Dialog hemodialysis machine of double-pump, HDF for 9 times and HD
for 11 times were given to two cases of multiple organs dysfunction
syndrome and one case of nephrotic syndrome with acute renal failure, for a
mean of 1.5-3h per time. The dosage of metathesis fluid for HDF is
1600-4000ml, the rapidity of blood flow is 3ml/min/kg, the type of dialyzer
is F4 for HD, F40 for HDF .Bun, Cr,β2-MG protein in blood were observed before and after the HD and
HDF.
Result: The
clearance rate of BUN, Cr and β2-MG protein in blood of HDF were markedly higher than that of
HD (p<0.05).The incidence rate of hypotension in HDF was lower: 2/11
times in HD, none in HDF. As to the unbalanced syndrome, none in HD, 1/9
times in HDF.
Conclusion: Compared with HD, HDF is more efficient, the clearance of
low-molecular-weight protein(such as β2-MG protein) is higher, blood pressure is steady, but the
unbalanced syndrome should be prevented .
