文本框: EVALUATION OF GRADE OF SYMPTOM, TREATMENT FEE, MEDICATION USE AND PAQLQ AFTER TREATING CHILDHOOD ASTHMA WITH THE METHOD OF COMBINING TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE AND WESTERN MEDICINE Li JX, Zhang HM, Zheng SJ, Tan GM et al Asthma Centre, Teaching Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanhai, China Objective: To evaluate grade of symptom, treatment fee , medication use and PAQLQ (Paediatric Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire) after treating 41 childhood asthmatics(4-17 yrs old) with the method of combining traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. Methods: Serial measurement of grade of symptom, medication use ,treatment fee and PAQLQ were all done before and at 1, 2 years after treatment . Results: Grade of symptom , treatment fee, medication use and score of PAQLQ(3 domains: symptom, activities and emotions) at 1, 2 years after treatment were declined (P<0.01). Conclusions: The method of treating asthma with combining traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine may treat asthma effectively and improve childhood asthmatics’ quality of life as well.
