The aims of this study were analyzed, the height, weiht, length of upper exfremity, circumference of upper extremity, length of foot, chest circumference and sitting height among 11389 normal children in Heilongjiang, Hubei,Jiangxi, Guangdong Province.

of UENI were prooved and applied in fce rarge of 1–7 years old and the index age cwoe was drawn. The results showed that this observation among the four province were basically in conformity to that of ten provinces and nine cities. The lead of physical development in the length of upper extremit circumference, subcutaneous fat the upper extremity shown a positure relationship between height height, weight and chest circumference (r=0.52-0.93), comparationly the results between related terms that came from random selection among 3057 children showed that the conformity rate between UENI and fce following terms circumference of upper extremity was 79.5-93.2% and with kanp index uerreck index.Quetet index, the ratio between chest circumference of arm were 87.9-99.4% with discrect age height, discrect weight, discrect height respectionly were 88.1-94.3%, 89.9-95.7%, 92.8-97.4%. The conformity rate of UENI(I)(II) were higher.In determination of Nutritional valves index (III) was the best.The proof and application shown that UENI methods were accurate, objective sensitive, applicable and simple, moreower sutable for both rural and urban areas, especially basic estimation of indioidnals and group of children nutritional state and development level.
