51 CASES OF OBSERVATION ON INFANTILE DYSPEPSIA AND DIARRHOEA TREATED BY MASSAGE

Objective: To explore the effect of massage on infant diarrhea

Methods: First rub Tian Shu pionts on both sides 100 to 200 times, then rub ZhongWan point 100 times and abdomenal portion 100 times. Next rub Guwei point 100 times, then push to the 7th bone 100 times. After that tonic the spleen channel, and clear the large intestinal heat. Finally use "yun" method for the internal eight divination and rub Ban Men 100 to 200 times.

Results: 36 cases are recovered, 10 cases are effective 5 cases are ineffective. The total effective rate is 90 percent. There is a typical example.

Conclusions: Massage is very effective in treating infant diarrhea. It is easy and safe to operate in this method. Meanwhile this method has no side effect, so it should be applied widey.
