Objective: To study the treatment of ABO hemolysis with the same dosages of intravenous immunoglobulin by different methods.

Method: 17 patients are divided into two groups. One group is 7 cases with 2.5g IVIG in one dose. The other group is 10 cases with 1.25g IVIG per day of two days. The two groups are remained the same other therapy.

Result: The second day after treatment, the serum bilirubin is decreased 122.1±7.4µmol/L in the group of 2.5g IVIG, and 25.5±11.7µmol/L in the group of 1.25g IVIG, p<0.001. The forth and seventh day, the levels are decreased 122.1±7.4µmol/L ,81.8±0.4µmol/L and 45.5±49µmol/L,118.6±21µmol/L (p<0.001 and p<0.05).

Conclusion: The effect of 2.5g IVIG (700mg—1000mg/kg) used in one time is better than the same dosages in two divided doses.
