Objective: To explore to clinical signifi cances of isotype-specific antibody IgA to Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.
Methods: Using ELISA and pellet agglutinated methods, dertermination of MP-IgA and MP-IgM antibody for 296 cases with broncho pneumonia and 57 cases of followers.
Results: The changes of MP-IgA antibody were shown no difference with MP-IgM. The positive rate rise along with the efficacy of MP- IgM and course of disease related obviously to the infection of respiratory tract. The efficacy of Mp-IgM was declined after three months, the part of that sustained longer for children with infection of respiratory tract.
Conclusions: The deternimation of isotype-specific antibody IgA to mycoplasma pneumoniae had profound important significance, to rising the susceptibility and specificy for diagnosing the infection of mycoplasma pneumoniae.
