ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL
CHARACTERISTIC OF 76 CHILDREN PATIENTS WITH LUPUS NEPHRITIS

Objective: For
research on characterestics of lupus nephritis(LN) among children patients
in the southland of China.
Methods: We had
analyzed 76 children patients of LN in the in-patient department and
compared with 98 adult patients with LN in this paper.
Results: The results
showed that the LN characteristics in children patients as follows: 1. It
often occurred in female patients. 2. It was rarely seen before 6 years old
and oviously increased before adolescence. 3. Pathological changes in
kidney were more severe than adult patients (P<0.01). 4. Neuropsychic
damages were more common in children patients (P<0.01). 5. Low level of
complements was more commonly seen in children patients (P<0.01).
