Objective: To study the
characteristic of the damaging of heart, liver and pancreas in the
rotavirus infected patients, and to analysis the reasons.
Methods
The blood samples of acute rotavirus infected patients were collected.
Detecded the ALT,AST, CK-MB, amylopsin and the rotavirus RNA.
Results: The ALT ,AST, CK-MB were
abnormal in 36.59%,78.05% ,56.82%of the patients
respectively, and amylopsin was abnormal in 2 of 37 patients. These
abnormities have nothing to do with the duration and degree of diarrhea,
nor did the degree of dehydration, but do with the fever.

rotavirus infected patients may have their heart, liver, pancreas damaged
,which related with the fever and viremia.
