Objective: To study the response
of gut hormones when rotavirus infection appears.

glucagons in plasma and water stool in acute stage children were measured.
Results: The level of plasma in
rotavirus gastroenteritis increased (385.12 ¡À 217.69 pg /ml, p<0.01)
significantly than that in normal children (100.84 ¡À 85.73 pg /ml), the
pancreatic glucagons in water stool changed variously. The level in water
stool was higher than in plasma.
Conclutions: Pancreatic glucagons
are high responsiveness in acute stage infant. The way of its exocrine is
found for the first time.
