Objectives: To examine the presence
of viremia in the acute rotavirus infected patients.
Methods: The rotavirus RNA in
the PBMC and plasma samples were detected by nested RT-PCR, and analysis
the connections of the presence of viremia and clinical symptoms.
Results: The rotavirus RNA was
examined in 5 of 30 of PBMC samples and 3 in the plasma samples. The
presence of viremia has no connection with the fever, dehydration and
vomitting. But has connections with the poor states in the anamnesis.
Conclusions: The viremia of
rotavirus is presented in rotavirus infected patients, and HRV can present
in the PBMC independently. PBMC can carry the virus disseminate to the
whole body. And the immunodeficiency patients are easy to get the rotavirus
viremia.
