Conclusion: Complications of diverticulum are always manifested as acute abdomen. The manifestation often occurred in infants and it is likely to be misdiagnosed.Intestinal obstruction, haemorrhage of diverticulum and diverticulitis are common complications, all about one third of the total.Confirmed diagnosis rate of 99mTcO4-γimaging is 32% for haemorrhage of diverticulum.Ectopic tissue and morpho rage character are the main pathological mechanism.Foreign body insertion can cause inflammation and perforation. 99mTcO4-γ imaging can be a specific examination for Meckel’s diverticulum.
