NURSING OF PELVIS FRACTURE IN CHILDREN

Objective: To improve the nursing effect
on physiological and mental recovery of children with pelvis fracture.
Methods: 22 children with pelvis
fracture were studied retrospectively and followed up(the average time: 2.5
years). The clinical nursing characteristics and experiences were
summarized.
Results: All complications of the
patients with pelvis fracture were treated effectively. No any nursing
complications were founded during the medical treatment. The living
confidence of these children was rebuilt in some degree, these children
could had the ability to adapt the study and social life when they were
discharged.
Conclusions: The better nursing effect
was obtained according to the following four important factors: observing
and nursing of the complications, recognizing the major and minor nursing
problems, adjusting relationship between the fracture fixation and
functional exercise, paying more attention to the children with special
mental problems.
