Objective: to explore serum VitE level in preterm infant who were fed by breast milk.
Method: blood samples were collected from eighteen preterm infants (birth weight 1801.22±33.73g, gestational age 33.4±1.77 week) at birth, ten days, thirty days, respectively.
Result: VitE level of all infants were normal at birth, which reached top at ten days and declined at thirty days within normal range.
Conclusion: we suggest that preterm infant fed breast milk may not be supplemented VitE within one month.
