文本框: CHINESE JOURNAL OF PEDIATRICS Shoubao Ning, Associate Editor-in-Chief The"Chinese Journal of Pediatrics", founded in 1950, is the official journal of the Chinese Pediatric Society. It is published monthly in China with detailed abstracts in English. Last year, the circulation of the Journal was 35,000.and publication of this journal is now available both as periodicals and on disks. The editorial board consists of outstanding professors and researchers in the field of pediatrics from different provinces of inland China,and also from Hong Kong. The subscribers comprise of pediatricians, postgraduate students and child health care workers. The articles accepted include not only clinical pediatrics, but also basic studies and preventive medicine in pediatrics. High quality original articles, manuscripts introducing new concepts and new technologies are of high priority for acceptance. The main categories of this journal are: original articles, short articles, reviews, commentaries, case reports, technology, clinicopathological discussion, questions and answers, new therapeutic experience and book reviews. Every year, prizes are awarded to the authors of outstanding articles, which are selected through peer review and voting from the editors. To promote exchange between Chinese pediatricians and colleagues abroad, starting from this year, it was planned to publish one volume of selected original articles of this journal in English annually. We hope to receive comments from colleagues abroad to help us improve in editing and publishing this journal. We hope to get this journal included in Index Medicus.
