Objective: To investigate the determination of T lymphocyte subset in children with Kawasaki Disease (KD) and to evaluate their clinical significance.
Methods: The peripherals blood CD30+, CD25+, and CD4+ were determined in 11 cases of KD, as well as 11 healthy children with immunocytochemistry and flow cytometry (FCM).
Results: The cells positive expression for CD30+ and CD25+ in KD group were evidently much higher than the cells positive expression of control group (P<0.01). The cells positive expression for CD4+ were increase significantly in experimental group compared with control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion: T lymphocyte in children with KD are the activated by variety of etiologic agents. It induces the immune responsive reaction.
