Objective: To study the exact changes of the cellular immunity, the humoral immunity and autoimmunity of viral myocarditis children in order to guide the immune therapy.
Methods: the levels of CD23, CD3 /HLA-DR, ImmunoglobulinIgG , IgA ,IgM in peripheral blood were detected in children with viral myocarditis which were included 30 cases at the acute stage and 22 cases at the procrastinating stage with the use of flow cytometer and other method, meanwhile, 30 sera from health children were used as control .
Results: the results showed that in the acute and procrastinating stages of viral myocarditis, the levels of CD23, immunoglobulin IgG, IgA, IgM, CD3 +/HLA-DR+, CD3 -/HLA-DR+ were significantly elevated than those of the control groups(P<0.01),the elevation of CD23 was low-grade positive correlation with the elevation of immunoglobulin IgG, IgA, IgM, while the levels of theCD3+/HLA-DR-were no obvious change(P>0.05).There were no obvious differences between the acute and the procrastinating stages of viral myocarditis.
Conclusion: There were enhancing states of the cellular immunity, the humoral immunity and the autoimmunity in the acute and the procrastinating stages of viral myocarditis, which indicate that the cellular immunity, the humoral immunity and the autoimmunity maybe concerned with the immune damage of the children with viral myocarditis.
