CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON TREATING CHILDRENS PEPTIC ULCER BY T.C.M

Objective: To study the treatment of children’s peptic ulcer by T.C.M.

Methods: 192 cases diagnosed by fibro-gastroscopy examination had treated by T.C.M. for 6 weeks. Gastric mucosa urea-ferment test and histolodic test were undertaken on 153 cases. Forward visition was made on 95 cases.

Results: Duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer was 158/192 and 34/192. 136 cases were diagnosed helicobacter pylori(HP) infection and positive rate was 88.5%. After treatment, the rate of heal of peptic ulcer, turn into HP negative, syndromes relaxed and recur were in turn as follows: 76.7%, 72.1%,84.9%,54.7%.

Conclusion: T.CM. is effective on treating children’s peptic ulcer.
