AND EVALUATION OF DIRECT MEDICAL FEE OF ASTHMA CHILDERN Yang Jun, Liu Zhifeng, Xiao Wangzhen Xiaogan Women and Children’s Health Hospital,
Xiaogan 432100, Hubei Province, China Objective: To inguine the direct
medical fee of asthma children treated mainly by the inhaling of cortical
hormone. Method: To investigate the long term
effect and medical fee of 69 asthma children treated by corticat hormone
inhaling and73 asthma children treated by traditional method in one year
with investigation form. Result: The long term effects
cortical hormone inhaling children were better than those of traditional
treated children(p<0.05).The direct medical fees of cortical hormone
children by the end of3、6、9、12months were
237±84yuan,456±167yuan,712±203yuan,785±239yuan respectively. While the medical fees of
traditional treated children were 219±113yuan,507±218yuan,823±316yuan,1106±396yuan respectively. There had not been significantly diversity of
medical fees between two groups by the end of 3 months and 6 moths
p>0.05, but had been significantly diversity by the end of12 months, the
medical fees of parorysmal stage of two groups were 377±168yuan and 949±521yuan,significant increase of cost were observed in the
traditional treated group. Conclusion: The treatment and
administration of asthma children Characterized by cortical hormone
inhaling had important value in long-term effect and medical fee, there are
enormous work must be done in order to popularize“GINA”Plan in the basic hospital. Key words: asthma; prophylaxis and
