West Java immunization reports for the last five years showed that the number of measles cases increased in elementary school children including those who had already got measles immunization. Therefore, this phenomenon lead to a question whether there is a decrease in immunity that a post immunization child could suffer from measles. The purpose of this study was to find out the antibody titre seven years after the measles im-munization. Subject were 7-8 year-age children who were 7-12 months old in 1993, and were given' CAM 70' immunization and part of them acquires second immunization at age 15 months. The antibody was examined using neutralization test method. The result was stated as'seronegative'if the antibody titre was200,miu/ml.of 77 children tested(34 boys and 43 girls)who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were the target of the study. Thirty-one acquired a single dose immunization while 46 acquired second dose immunization. The result were 16.2% seronegative for children who had single dose and 10.9% for those who has second dose which statistically not significantly different (p=0.366).seronegativity were not significant ly associated with the number of immunization given(once or twice),mother's education level, and the history of having measles, Children of 7-8 years who has no immunity for measles should get protoction by giving reimmunization.
