TUBERCULOSIS WITH PHLYCTENULAR CONJUNTIVITIS (CASE REPORT)

The aim of this paper is to report a case of
phlyctenular conjunctivitis in 16 months old girl with primary
tuberculosis. Diagnosis was based on history, clinical findings,
laboratory, tuberculin test and radiology. The patient had been treated
with corticosteroid and antimicrobial eye drops to overcome the
inflammation of the cornea. Antituberculosis drugs was given to eliminate
the primary tuberculosis which is the underlying disease and good response
of phlyctanular conjunctivitis was obtained after two weeks of treatment.
