Objective: To
explore the effects of the therapeutic equipment of transdermal
administering medicine on the infants with pneumonia
Methods: One hundred and eight infants with
pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups: the control group (n=54)
and the treated group (n=54). The infants in the control group were treated
with the routine therapy (antibiotics and the ultrasound nebulization),
while combined the routine therapy with transdermal admistering medicine
were used in the treated group.
Results: The effective rate in the treated
group was 94%, while 78% in the control group. There was a significant
difference between the two groups (P<0.01=. And there was marked
progress in reducing fever, controlling wheeze, stopping coughing, and
facilitating the rale in lungs to absorb.
Conclusions:
The transdermal administering medicine therapy is a new method of
administering medicine. It is effective as an auxiliary therapy in infants
with pneumonia.
